Marks guide is pretty hefty, around fifty pages of
good solid information, providing value to both beginners and experts.
Here's a breakdown of the main features:
= A complete walkthrough of how to install and setup your wordpress blog,
with screenshots covering each step in detail. Both Fantisco wizard installation, and
manual installation, are covered. We also learn the basic settings for SEO and bookmarking.
= a list of highly useful plugins, and some quality themes.
Again we have detailed step by step instructions, with screenshots and detailed explanations.
= Full instructions on how to setup your social media accounts, and integrate these into
your blog.
We also learn how to automate posting to many accounts, saving you time and bringing
you free traffic. Some ingenious tools are mentioned, with highly detailed usage instructions.
As you can see, it really is a box of tricks. You have a good many resources, and hands-on guides that you can use right away to automate your social media traffic.
I haven't had the chance to test out any of the methods. I did however have a good look through the manuscript, and I am definitely going to have a bash at the automation system inside a wordpress-MU blog.
Hopefully I'll post again today with some results.

Automated Wordpress Promotions
Ok - I have completed my initial tests, and I'm pleased to report that both the traffic system and the automation both work as advertised, at least in so far as setup and installation, following the instructions in the guide. I can easily see how these tools could bring in a good supply of traffic and help to increase the ranking of your wordpress blog.
This book has already helped me greatly, as it helps to fill in the middle ground between blog posting and social media. Everything was free to install, and fairly simple to implement, and by following the detailed walkthroughs that Mark provides, I was able to get up and running with no time wasted.
A good variety of networks are supported by both systems, and they each offer advanced customisation options that make these tools useful for much more than blog/social automation.
As well as this, the book makes an excellent worksheet when setting up fresh blogs, because it's easy to forget something important (I don't follow why wordpress is supposed to be easier than other scripts to install - for me that is fallacy).
So all in all a big thumbs up - unbeatable value all round!
